We Start Where You Are
Somewhere in the last couple of years, AI started to take up a lot of airspace, without keeping everyone on the same page. And no matter what they say, most people are AI beginners.
In Prompt Basics, you’ll find out what these tools do and don't do, ask the questions you’ve been wondering, and finish the day with AI that is set up and clear decision-making tools for when to use it. You don't need to know anything before you arrive.

The Experience
Our experts will guide you through a day that is interactive, un-intimidating, and dare we say fun. This isn’t for your tech bros. This is for women who’d rather build the thing than hear about it.
→
No jargon.
We explain things the way you’d explain them to a colleague. If a term doesn’t land, we stop and sort it out before moving on.
→
A small room.
Twelve seats, so you get real time with a facilitator and nobody gets lost at the back.
→
Your own work.
You’ll spend most of the day with your hands on your keyboard, building something you’ll use on Monday.
→
No wrong questions.
Everyone in the room is working this out. Ask the thing you've been too busy to ask.
The Day
Get a feel for our Prompt Basics retreat with a sample agenda. The actual day will look close to this, but adjusted for the group, their AI comfort level, and tool-readiness.
9:00
Get situated. Arrive, grab coffee, meet the people you'll be spending the day with.
9:15
Level set. We’ll talk through the day, work out the key terms, and agree on how we’re going to tackle the behemoth of AI.
9:30
Real talk, part one. In plain, accessible language, we’ll cover what AI is, what you need to know about it, why it’s such a big deal, and the opportunities and risks it presents to society.
10:15
Outside. Snack, fresh air, time on the grass.
10:30
Real talk, part two. We unpack those risks, your questions, and the objections a lot of us are carrying about using AI at all. We’ll go deep and wide, and no question goes unanswered.
12:00
Lunch, then a stretch. We’ll take a pause to enjoy some lovely local food, each other’s company, and a walk or stretch in the great outdoors.
1:15
How to use it. You’ll get set up on your own laptop with a tool that suits your work, then put it to use on something real from your own week. We’ll be beside you the whole way, so you’re never guessing. We will explore ideas and see how the tools function, adding on skills and tools strategically and thoughtfully.
3:00
Snack. Step away, refill, compare notes with the woman next to you.
3:30
Wrap up. We’ll come back to the questions you walked in with, name what surprised you, and you’ll leave with one clear next step for AI.
4:00
Done. You’ll go home with something that works and the confidence that you set it up yourself.

Good for you.
Good for your team.
Our retreats support professional development. Here is the overview of the skills you’ll work on.
By the end of the day, you’ll be able to:
Spot which of your repeated tasks can be better done with support from AI
Choose the right approach for a task and knowing which tool to use it
Setting up a tool and seeing how it can integrate with real work
Set clear boundaries on what these tools touch, and use them inside your organization’s rules
Test what you’ve built well enough to know when you can trust the output
Use AI with confidence and clarity
You’ll leave with a method and a decision-making matrix. Once you can spot where AI can help strategically and ethically, you can sit with a colleague and help them do the same. What you learn here you’ll be able to share with others.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. If you can use email and a browser, you have everything you need.
-
Almost nobody does when they walk in. Finding it is what the morning is for.
-
Bring them. There are legitimate problems with how these systems were trained and whose work went into them. We won't talk you out of anything. We'll discuss it openly and you’ll decide where your own lines sit.
-
Tell us when you register. Knowing your constraints makes the day more useful, not less.
-
Life happens. We can’t offer refunds, but we can move you to another retreat date, hold your payment as a credit toward a future one, or seat someone else in your place. Email us before the day and we’ll sort it out.
Have a question we didn’t answer? Contact our team and we’ll be in touch soon.
Start curious,
go home confident.
Leave knowing what these tools do, when to reach for them, and how to take next steps on your own. Small groups, plain language, and our experts beside you the whole way.
